Independence of the Seas
Lifestyles Cruise® Caribbean Takeover Cruise

November 11-17, 2018

BLISS Charters and Lifestyles Cruise® proudly announces the return of the INDEPENDENCE OF THE SEAS for the November 2018 cruise charter! Back by popular demand no less. The couples who previously cruised on the Independence of the Seas really missed the Promenade. The Promenade is a very open section in the center of the ship that very much appears like a retail shopping mall in the French Quarter. Retail stores. restaurants, bars, pubs and a Starbucks-like cafe. But what a social mecca. The Promenade is where everyone hangs out at night after dinner to watch the exciting aerial shows and mingle around socializing with other couples. And don't forget the Promenade cabins. These are "Inside Cabins" that have a window facing into the Promenade area. You can see everything that is happening below... and everyone below can see everything you are doing above.

The Independence of the Seas has been newly renovated and upgraded with many new cabins, including what we call the "Panoramic Cabins" positioned in a curve around the front of the ship in lieu of rectangles all in a row. This cabin configuration is very new for cruise ships. The Independence has many huge suites, and exquisite cabins, complete with butler service and ready to spoil you to no end. The ship is amazing, as you will never be without something to do. Each floor has a monitor that shows you exactly where you are and all of the events that are happening all over the decks, night clubs, show rooms and play rooms.

If you enjoy the land based, lifestyle-friendly resorts, you will really love the allure and excitement of a 5-Star cruise ship hosting your vacation. There will be thousands of other like minded people on this ship, just waiting to meet with you and the better half for a fun-filled seven nights at sea and exciting ports of call. The fun and action just never seems to stop. Beginning with the night before the cruise at the hotel Meet & Greet party, all the way through seven nights out on the ocean with nightly theme parties and late night clubs, this will be a vacation you will soon not forget.

As usual, Lifestyles Cruises® have the largest play rooms on the oceans. Converted and ready for action by the after dinner hours, the Independence playrooms can accommodate about two hundred people at a time, and consistently manned by efficient and friendly host couples ready to help you find a spot and provide new linens.

THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM as they say. Any couple that reserves their cabin in the "Early Bird Promotion" days will receive a FREE HOTEL ROOM the night before, also enjoying a FREE Meet & Greet Party to meet and socialize with new friends. We will also have a Bus and Luggage service available from the hotel to the port for an additional charge. Just entry the PROMO CODE of "FREEHOTEL" when you book your cabin. Don't wait until all the best cabins are taken. Get a deposit on the cabin of your choice. Free Hotel offer must be included at the time of booking and the offer expires August 31, 2017, after that rooms will be availbe for purchase.

Meet the Independence of the Seas

Independence of the Seas is a Freedom-class cruise ship operated by the Royal Caribbean cruise line that entered service in April 2008. The 15-deck ship can accommodate 4,370 passengers and is served by 1,360 crew. She was built in the Aker Finnyards Turku Shipyard, Finland, builder of Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas, her sister ships of the Freedom class. At 154,407 GT,[4] she joined Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas as the largest cruise ships and passenger vessels yet built. She is 1,112 feet (339 m) long, and typically cruises at 21.6 knots (40.0 km/h; 24.9 mph). The vessel operates from Fort Lauderdale, Florida during the Fall and Winter months and Southampton, England during the Spring and Summer months.

Independence of the Seas is the third of the Freedom-class vessel. In October 2009, Oasis of the Seas, the first ship in the Oasis-class, displaced the Freedom-class as the world's largest passenger ship.

You will need to have your First and Last Names, as they appear on your passport and the Date of Birth (DOB) for each guest as well as your credit card. Most cruises have payment plans available, but if you would like to schedule a different payments plan (ie $200 per month), please give us a call and we will do out best to assist you.

Booking Considerations

Cabin Type
Do you prefer a cabin with or without a window? Cabins without a window are normally located on the inside corridor of the ship. There are also balcony rooms and suites. Balcony rooms come with an outside patio area where the scenery can be enjoyed without leaving quarters. Suites include a sleeping and dining area with additional amenities.
** If someone in your party is prone to sea sickness, choose a cabin that is on a lower level and in the middle of the ship.
Cabin Size
Having comfortable surroundings is important when going on a week-long cruise. Will you be spending a lot of time in the cabin? Do you want to wake up and drink coffee on the balcony? A small cabin with no window isn't a good fit for passengers that are claustrophobic. Make sure to determine your needs ahead of time and book a cabin that is sized accordingly.
Amenities
Cabins and suites offer a wide range of amenities from Concierge services, to menu upgrades and spa access, to wet bars and butlers in the suite class. Determine which perks will make your vacation complete before finalizing your cabin selection.
